Company Description Infact’s mission is to increase responsible lending through fair, transparent, and current credit reporting. By enabling more accurate decisioning, Infact helps organizations reduce risk while improving access to appropriate financial products. The team is focused on building secure, reliable data solutions that promote trust between consumers and lenders.

Role Description This is a full-time Product Manager for our Fraud and ID product. The role is based in London with a hybrid working model that allows some work from home. The role involves owning the product vision and roadmap for fraud detection and identity verification solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals and regulatory requirements.

Day-to-day responsibilities include gathering and prioritising requirements, collaborating with engineering, data, compliance, and commercial teams, and translating customer and market insights into clear product specifications.

The Product Manager will monitor product performance, analyse fraud and ID metrics, and iterate on features to improve accuracy, user experience, and operational efficiency. The role also requires regular stakeholder communication, managing timelines, and supporting go-to-market activities such as product documentation, training, and launch coordination.

Qualifications

  • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills, with the ability to use metrics and customer insights to drive product decisions and measure impact.
  • Experience in product management within financial services, including ownership of product roadmaps and delivery.
  • Optional domain experience is preferred in fraud prevention, identity verification, or credit risk domains.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (engineering, data science, operations, sales, and compliance) and manage multiple stakeholders.
  • Clear and concise communication skills, including the ability to write product requirements, user stories, and documentation for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience working in a hybrid environment, with strong self-management, prioritization, and organisational skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field such as business, finance, computer science, data, or a related discipline.
  • Background in API-based products, digital identity solutions, or consumer data platforms is highly beneficial.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Someone with a bias to action with the engineering and product experience to design beautifully crafted B2B products and features.
  • An engineering background, with (ideally) backend experience before moving into product. You need to be able to read code, write a technical specification, and have a credible conversation with an engineer about trade-offs. You will use Postman, GitHub, Jira, and Claude Code daily.
  • One to two years of product management experience in a B2B fintech or financial services organisation, with direct experience owning an API as a product.
  • A natural collaborator: This role sits at the intersection of engineering, sales, and compliance. You will need to hold the trust of all three simultaneously, which means translating between them without losing fidelity.
  • Familiarity with fraud, credit, risk, or identity data products is a nice to have. You do not need to be a domain expert on day one, but you need to get there fast with our support – curiosity is key.
  • A progressive approach to AI in product work: We expect this person to use AI tools actively across research, specification writing, competitive analysis, and delivery management, and to raise the bar for the whole team.
  • Strong written and oral communication.
  • Comfort operating in a small team: You will create structure rather than wait for it, you will drive your agenda rather than have it dictated to you.

Work Environment:

  • Hybrid & Flexible: Work from home with the flexibility to meet in our central London office 3 days per week.
  • Collaborative Team: This is a demanding role for someone who wants to learn quickly, is curious about how financial services really works, and wants to make change that positively impacts millions of people every month. You will engage in debates, collaboration, and innovation with a team that values your input.

Why Infact?

  • Attractive Benefits: Enjoy 25 days of paid holiday, flexible working arrangements, flexible bank holidays, unlimited unpaid leave, and employer pension contributions.
  • Real Ownership: Own your products end-to-end from idea to sales – no layers between you and the CEO, no committees gatekeeping decisions.
  • Growth Opportunities: Access training budget for the right courses, mentorship or other.
  • Healthy Living: Medical benefits, and ability to participate in our cycle-to-work scheme.
