This is a rare opportunity to shape the next growth phase from the ground up. You build a team, establish the processes, stay close to the customer, and bring a network that opens doors at the right decision-making level. You report directly to the CRO and work closely with the entire leadership team, with real ownership and room to shape things from day one.
What we expect
10+ years in B2B SaaS or enterprise software sales, because you don't need complex sales cycles, long buying committees, and enterprise reality explained to you, you steer them with confidence
At least 5 years of leadership experience with a proven track record of building and scaling sales teams, because we are building an organization here, not a solo role
A strong network at decision-making level in manufacturing, finance, or legal that you can activate from day one, because warm intros beat cold outreach, especially in the enterprise segment
A track record of exceeding ambitious revenue targets, because we need someone who drives growth with energy and focus
Confident negotiation at executive level in German and English, because you operate on equal footing with top management and close deals that matter
Experience in a fast-growing startup or scale-up (Series A/B/C), so that high pace and ambiguity energize you rather than slow you down
A data-driven mindset and hands-on mentality, because you build forecasting and pipeline management on facts and get stuck in yourself
Expected AI Skills
AI is not a buzzword here, it is part of our daily work and a real lever in sales.
Use AI tools in day-to-day sales to speed up pipeline analysis, personalize outreach, and sharpen forecasting
Bring your team up to speed with AI workflows and measurably increase efficiency and output
As an active user of our own product, give the product team real feedback from the field, because you sell what you use every day
We don't expect AI expertise, but the openness to use AI as a daily co-pilot.
Your responsibilities
Build the commercial engine that carries Blockbrain into its next growth phase. Strategy, structure, and execution are in your hands
Build a sales team from scratch: find, develop, coach, and bring the right people to top performance
Shape the biggest deals yourself by sitting at the table with strategic enterprise clients and closing where it counts
Turn your network into growth and represent Blockbrain as the face of sales at industry events, in client meetings, and in negotiations
Steer pipeline, forecasting, and performance with data while establishing a culture of ownership and continuous improvement
Feed market and customer insights directly into product and sales strategy and help decide where Blockbrain is headed
Work cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Customer Success, and Finance to set the course for scalable growth

Compensation: €100,000 EUR - €110,000 EUR (base) plus variable components
