Demand Generation Manager - Permanent Contract

Sales & Business Development

Paris, France

The Challenge 🎯

  1. Make Aria visible where it matters. We're entering new verticals (vertical SaaS, state-backed suppliers, etc.) where we have no brand awareness yet. You'll need to find and activate the channels, events, and partnerships that put us in front of the right buyers.
  2. Build the distribution playbook from scratch. There's no established events calendar, no sponsoring framework, no lifecycle nurturing in place. You'll co-define the approach with the Head of Marketing and own the execution.
  3. Drive pipeline, not just impressions. This is a sales-led business with long cycles. Every initiative you run must connect back to pipeline generation. You think in meetings booked and opportunities influenced, not reach.
  4. Operate with a small team and high autonomy. You won't have a 10-person marketing org behind you. You'll coordinate with freelancers, work cross-functionally with Sales, and make decisions fast. You're comfortable being the person who both plans and executes.

Your Missions 🚀

  • Events & conferences: Identify, plan, and execute Aria's presence at key industry events (trade shows, roundtables, speaking opportunities). Own the full cycle: selection, logistics, pre/post-event activation, lead conversion.
  • Targeted sponsoring: Find and activate the right audience relays: sector newsletters, podcasts, media partnerships, influencers. Negotiate, execute, measure.
  • Paid distribution: Run targeted LinkedIn Ads and SEA campaigns to amplify content and events.
  • Nurture & lifecycle CRM: Structure and operate nurturing sequences to convert leads into qualified opportunities.
  • Channel reporting & budget: Track performance across channels, manage the acquisition budget, recommend trade-offs.

Why this role is exciting

You're not joining a mature marketing machine. You're joining a company where the product-market fit is proven, the revenue engine is running, but the marketing distribution layer barely exists yet.

That means:

  • No established events playbook, no sponsoring framework, no lifecycle nurturing in place. You'll build it.
  • A strategic repositioning underway: from marketplace financing specialist to embedded B2B financing platform. You'll help make that positioning real in the market.
  • A small, high-trust Revenue team (Marketing + Sales, ~10 people) where your work directly impacts pipeline. You'll see the results of what you do.
  • This is a role for someone who gets energy from building, not optimizing. If you want a well-oiled demand gen machine to manage, this isn't it. If you want to be the person who creates the playbook others will scale, keep reading.

What We Are Looking For 🫵🏻

You have 5-7 years of experience in B2B marketing, ideally in tech or SaaS. You've done events, run campaigns, and worked closely with Sales. You don't need a playbook handed to you.

What matters most:

  • You're a doer who thinks. Execution doesn't scare you; losing sight of the business objective does.
  • You're commercially minded. Marketing exists to generate pipeline. You're comfortable with salespeople, their deals, their language. "Awareness" without a pipeline angle doesn't satisfy you.
  • You build before you optimize. You've worked where nothing existed yet. You’re comfortable with shipping a first version, measuring, adjusting.
  • You manage external partners well (freelancers, vendors, media partners).
  • You're rigorous with data. You track what matters (pipeline contribution, channel conversion…). You know when good enough is good enough.

Nice to have:

  • Experience in fintech, payments, or financial services
  • Familiarity with CRM/marketing automation tools (Pipedrive, HubSpot, or similar)
  • Comfort with AI tools in your daily workflow
  • French and English fluency (our markets are primarily France and UK)
